CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE
The importance of properly fitting footwear is often underestimated or even overlooked. This affects everyone, but particularly people with diabetes, neuropathy or diabetic foot syndrome. Shoes that do not fit properly can cause pressure points, injuries and other foot problems. For people with diabetes, who are more prone to foot complications, wearing properly fitting footwear is especially important.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FEET AT HOME

FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WHEN MEASURING YOUR FEET
→ Measure your feet in the evening, as they reach their maximum size after a full day.
→ Take measurements while wearing socks.
→ Measure your feet while standing, keeping them at least 10 centimetres apart.
→ Measure both feet. When choosing your shoe size, use the larger measurement.
→ For more accurate measurements, ask someone to help you.
→ Stand on a piece of cardboard or paper with your heels touching a vertical wall. Ideally, have someone help you trace the outline of both feet to ensure accuracy.
→ When tracing your feet, keep the pencil perpendicular to the paper.
→ Measure your foot length from the edge of the paper to the furthest point of the outline. Add 3 millimetres to the measured length. Repeat for both feet.
→ Measure the width of your foot as the distance between the two furthest points at the widest part of the outline. Add 3 millimetres to the measurement. Repeat for both feet.
→ Always use the larger measurements for both foot length and width. Record them in millimetres.
→ Find your foot length in millimetres in our size chart, then select the corresponding shoe size.
→ Please note: The Diawin shoe size chart is specifically designed for our footwear and may differ from your usual shoe size.
→ If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
→ Once you have determined your shoe size, check the corresponding row in the size chart. You will find measurements in millimetres for three width options: Medium, Wide and Extra Wide. Choose the width that best suits your feet.

FAQ
WHY MIGHT MY USUAL SHOE SIZE NOT BE RIGHT FOR DIAWIN?
Diawin uses its own size chart, which may differ from your usual shoe size. That's why it's important to consider not just the size you normally wear, but also the actual length and width of your feet.
WHY IS MEASURING JUST ONE FOOT NOT ENOUGH?
Both feet are not always exactly the same size. Diawin therefore recommends measuring both feet and using the larger measurement for both length and width when choosing your shoe size.
WHY SHOULD I MEASURE MY FEET IN THE EVENING?
Feet naturally swell slightly throughout the day and usually reach their maximum size in the evening. Measuring your feet at this time helps you choose a size that will remain comfortable throughout the day.
